News articles have been written recently debating the UK and their approach to sex education in schools. They have stated that there is a link between teachers being too reserved and restrained when talking about sex and the rate of actual teenage pregnancy. The experts say this is because rumours then take precedence in the minds of youngsters. Some ridiculous rumours still doing the rounds are that you can’t get pregnant if: you have sex in the bath, you haven’t started your periods (you might have started ovulating) or if you do it standing up.

We’re all for a bit of open minded teaching, but how much is too much? A school in Montreal recently came under fire because a teacher issued a test to thirteen year olds that was full of sexually explicit questions about lesbian and anal sex. We think kids should know their birds and their bees but not about sex toys and xxx dvd’s just yet, they’ve got their whole adult lives to experiment.

Some people never seem to learn!

Another sex scandal to add to our 2010 list cropped up in the news recently. Eva Longoria Parker has filed for divorce from American sports star Tony Parker after he allegedly cheated on her with Erin Barry, the wife of a fellow sportsman. And what a list it’s been, Tiger Woods, Wayne Rooney and Ashley Cole have all been caught with their trousers down.

There have also been some huge surprises as well, who would have thought that cute little Mark Owen of Take That fame would have cheated on the mother of his children or that Ronan Keating would be caught in a similar way? These people seem to have it all, the perfect career, the beautiful partner (Tiger Woods’s wife Elin is absolutely stunning for example) and the perfect life, only to throw it away on a brief bit of fun.

At least Eva can console herself that she is in illustrious company and that she’s likely to find love quickly. In the meantime, we would advise (because we’re experts of course!) she indulge in some pleasure therapy and buy a good variety of sex toys, because that’s what we’d do.

Which lube to choose.
